Senator Taylor moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of the Finance Committee Substitute offered on page 3198. Senator Wilken called the Senate. The call was satisfied. Without objection, CS FOR SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 35(FIN) was adopted and read the second time. 1998-04-16 Senate Journal Page 3301 SJR 35 Senator Lincoln offered Amendment No. 1 : Page 1, line 7, following the word facility: Delete , including a public or private health care facility, Insert owned by a religious organization, Senator Lincoln moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 1. Objections were heard. Senator Phillips moved and asked unanimous consent that he be allowed to abstain from voting due to a conflict of interest. Objections were heard and Senator Phillips was required to vote. The question being: Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?
